What data formats are supported?
Upload a photo or screenshot of a table for OCR extraction, or paste comma, tab, or pipe-separated rows directly to generate an Excel file from text.
How does image extraction work?
Tesseract.js OCR runs in your browser and recognizes the table text. The text is split into rows and cells, then written to an .xlsx workbook using the SheetJS library.
What if my image is blurry or low contrast?
OCR accuracy depends on image quality. Clear, well-lit, high-contrast tables extract best. You can also correct the detected text before generating the Excel file.
Why did I get no table data detected?
The OCR output contained no line with multiple cells, which usually means the image is too blurry, rotated, or not a table. Retry with a sharper, flatter photo.
Can I edit the extracted data before downloading?
Yes. Extracted rows appear in the text area after OCR; edit any cell value there, then click Generate Excel File to rebuild the workbook.
Is my image or data uploaded?
No. OCR and spreadsheet generation run entirely in your browser, so tables with sensitive data never leave your device.
