How is the winner chosen?
A uniform random selection is made using the Web Crypto API, so every item in the list has an equal chance of being picked.
Can it prevent repeats?
Yes. Enable no repeat mode to exclude previously picked items, which is ideal for drawing multiple winners without duplicates.
What happens when all items are used?
When no repeat mode has exhausted the list, the tool resets or tells you the pool is empty, so you know to start a new round.
Can I announce the result?
Yes. The single picked item is displayed prominently, making it easy to project during a live drawing or giveaway.
Is my list uploaded?
No. The pick runs entirely in your browser, so participant or contestant lists never leave your device.
What formats are accepted?
One item per line or comma separated values both work, and the list preview shows what will be picked from.
