FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about sentiment analyzer.
How is sentiment scored?
A lexicon based scorer counts positive and negative words in the text, applying negation and intensity rules to adjust the final score.
What is the score range?
Scores fall on a scale from strongly negative through neutral to strongly positive, and the tool also reports separate positive, negative, and neutral components.
Does it highlight the words it scored?
Yes. Individual words that influenced the result are highlighted inline, so you can see exactly which terms drove the sentiment score.
Does it work in other languages?
English is fully supported with the bundled lexicon. Other languages fall back to neutral scoring because the word lists are English only.
Does my text stay on my device?
Yes. Scoring runs entirely in your browser, so reviews, comments, and messages you analyze never leave your device.
What is this useful for?
It is useful for quickly gauging the tone of product reviews, support tickets, survey responses, and social media posts without reading every item.
