Can I reorder pages with drag and drop?
Yes. The tool renders a thumbnail for every page, and you drag a thumbnail onto another to move it into that position, exactly like arranging photos in a gallery. The new order is previewed live before you save.
Can I rotate or delete individual pages?
Yes. Each thumbnail has a rotate control that turns the page by 90 degrees clockwise, and a delete control that removes it from the document. Rotations and deletions apply only to the output PDF; your original file is never modified.
Is my original PDF changed?
No. The tool reads your file into memory, lets you arrange a virtual stack of page images, and produces a brand-new PDF on save. The source file on your device stays untouched, so you can always go back.
How is the new PDF built?
After you finish arranging pages, pdf-lib copies each kept page from the source document in the order you set, applies any rotation you chose, and writes a fresh file. The process is fully local and no upload occurs.
Why does the resulting file sometimes differ in size?
Rearranging and deleting pages rewrites the document structure, so unused objects and revision history are discarded during the save, which can make the output smaller or occasionally larger depending on the original's structure. Text and images are not re-encoded.
