Can I resize without losing quality?
Downscaling with high-quality smoothing keeps the image visually crisp. Upscaling beyond the original size will look soft or blurry, since new pixels are interpolated.
What output format is used?
The resized image is always saved as JPEG, which keeps file size low but is lossy. Use the Image Converter for lossless PNG output.
How does the aspect ratio lock work?
With Keep aspect ratio enabled, typing a width automatically recalculates the height from the original proportions, and vice versa.
Can I set any pixel size?
Yes, any positive integer width and height. Extreme upscaling is allowed but produces visibly softer results.
Why is my PNG exported as a JPEG?
The tool always exports JPEG regardless of the source format. For transparent or lossless output, use the Image Converter tool.
