FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about image filter editor.

What filters are available?

Eight presets: grayscale, sepia, invert, blur, brighten, high contrast, desaturate, and hue shift, applied with CSS canvas filters.

Is the preview live?

Yes. Selecting a filter renders an instant preview before you decide to download the result, so you can compare filters quickly.

Can I combine filters or adjust intensity?

No. Only one preset filter can be applied at a time, and there are no intensity sliders for fine tuning.

What output format is used?

The filtered image is exported as PNG, which preserves quality and avoids the artifacts of JPEG compression.

Why does the blur look different from photo editors?

The blur radius is fixed at 3px and applied to the entire image at once by the canvas API, which differs from adjustable editor blurs.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Filtering runs entirely in your browser, so original photos never leave your device at any point.
