FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about markdown preview.
Which markdown features are supported?
Headings 1-6, bold, italic, inline code, fenced code blocks with language hints, ordered and unordered lists, blockquotes, paragraphs, and links.
Is the preview safe?
Yes. Raw HTML in the source is escaped before rendering, so no HTML tags or scripts execute inside the preview.
Are relative links supported?
Only absolute http or https URLs become clickable links. Other bracket syntax renders as plain text.
Can I copy the generated HTML?
Yes. A Copy HTML button exports the exact markup behind the preview, ready to paste into a page or email.
Does it support tables and images?
No. Tables, images, and task lists are not part of the markdown subset supported by this preview tool.
Does the preview update as I type?
Yes. Rendering runs on every keystroke, with a manual Preview button also available for larger documents.
